Will the leather change over time?
Yes, by design. The full-grain calf leather, semi-vegetable tanned with a waxed touch, develops a personal patina that reflects its wearer — no two bags age the same.
Is the lining water-resistant?
The lining is hand-dyed organic cotton canvas, woven so tightly it is slightly water-resistant.
Who makes HEIGS bags?
Each bag is made start to finish by a single artisan in France, and designed in Switzerland, where the house was founded.
